Meet Terrie
Terrie Ten Eyck is the Lead Architect and Author of the World Grace Project. With her relentless curiosity and drive, Terrie began her career at 14 selling Christmas cards door to door in the summer. A swarm of bees led to her decision to take an indoor babysitting job. Then a break-in led to a career choice to stay home at 15 and read books. Lots of books. Since then, Terrie has held several leadership positions, ultimately leaving her position as a Corporate Officer to start her own business. In 1994, she created Intellectual Architects, an integral consulting firm providing expertise in the areas of Cultural and Organizational Transformation. She earned a Magna Cum Laude in Human Relations and an M.A. in Human Development with a focus on Leadership, Quantum Physics and Spirituality. But mostly what she has earned and learned are the Gifts of the Heart. Terrie shares her passion doing what she loves most: working with People. And speaking of people, a few of her favorites are her daughter and son-in-law who have nurtured 3 of the most well-behaved kids on the planet, and she also honors her son, Brad, whose life is full of meaningful wellness as he focuses on earning his degree as a Registered Nurse. We firmly believe that we all can use more Grace.
We believe that in each and every moment, the whole World can use more Grace. We believe that Grace lives both inside and outside of us, in Truth and Faith. We can Find Grace within ourselves by choosing to live our authentic Truth. We Live Grace in our interactions with others. We can Be Grace through our Faith. And we can Give Grace to the whole World through actions of Good Will. We absolutely know that at the Heart of the Matter of Grace is Love. Love for human kind, Love for each other, Love for the one you’re with, and most of all, Love for ourselves. Without Love, there can be no Grace. And without Grace, real Love is difficult…if not impossible. Without Love, why bother? We are convinced that Fear is the source of our greatest challenges in Life…and our greatest opportunities. Fear doesn’t play well with others. Not with Love, and certainly not with Grace. When we allow our Ego to dominate our beliefs, thoughts and actions, we are living in Fear. We believe in the Power of Energetics. There are unseen dynamics at work that can make or break our relationships with others, with nature, with ourselves. We have more influence on our World than we know; we find what we look for, and we attract what we put out. When we live Grace, we get Grace in kind. We believe Grace can be found in the both the Spoken and Unspoken. We believe that a great Smile looks a lot better than a Crabby Frown. We believe a Gentle Truth is better than a White Lie. We believe that “Thanks, Honey” is much, much better than “Whaddya Want?!” And we believe that “I’m sorry” can be the most powerful phrase between two people. We believe in the Power of Human Beings to be Powerfully Good. We believe that every Human Being has Value and deserves to be Valued. We believe that every Human Being can Love and deserves to be Loved. And we believe that unless we trust each other’s Intentions, we can never find Grace. We believe that we know what we know…but we don’t know it all. When it comes to Grace, we have both questions and answers. We have a definite point-of-view and we are open to alternatives. We both have lifetimes of personal and professional experiences that have opened our minds and hearts. We approach Grace with a spirit of inquiry and we invite you to do the same. |
